As Logistics Engineering Manager you will lead the transformation in our journey towards electromobility, sustainability and digitalization. You will be responsible for optimizing the flows by utilizing new technologies, connectivity and lean manufacturing concepts. You will develop creative and sustainable solutions to improve logistics productivity and protect the environment. You will drive logistics activities in our masterplan for the electromobility transformation. You will lead an engaged and motivated team and promote competence development, inclusion and diversity!
Logistics Engineering is part of Manufacturing Logistics organization at Volvo Group Trucks Operations and plays a strategic role to assure production performance and transformation. We deliver customer value via end-to-end flow optimization, improving costs and lead time and securing quality and safety.
What you will do
- Build and develop high performing teams, securing diversity and inclusion
- Lead both Logistics Engineering Running Time and Logistics Engineering Project Office areas
- Manage Industrial and Product projects implementation securing Logistics requirements and deliveries
- Promote innovation and digitalization for all activities and processes
- Secure cross functional work and alignment
- Build collaboration within all stakeholders with an end-to-end vision
- Support the production processes by optimizing logistics
- Represent Logistics Engineering in several local and global meetings
- Lead activities to design internal flows for storage, picking solutions, transport and pre-assemblies
- Lead activities to develop and manage special packaging
- Drive the sustainability journey in all logistics processes
- Lead logistics activities in the masterplan, preparing for electromobility, mix model assembly and material to man concept

- Master degree in Engineering or correlated
- Proven knowledge and experience (5+ years) in logistics process
- Good knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing concepts and tools
- Experience in industrial and product projects management
- Experience leading people/leaders role
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Inspiring and inclusive leadership skills
- Keen interest and skill in people developmen
- Fluent in English
- Customer focus
- Passionate by innovation, digitalization and sustainability
