    Purpose:

    • Use information on the installed base of equipment to significantly increase the prospecting and sale of Service Contracts
    • Monitor current business KPIs, implement visual management tools and SMART action plans, to ensure the execution and trend of the strategies adopted for growth
    • Increase attachment to Service Contracts and Warranty Extension for new equipment
    • Implement a sales approach focused on selling value of Services, being able to maximize the benefits of Contracts and Extended Warranty for customers.
    • Conduct sales calls, perform customer facility walk-throughs, generate sales leads, and develop new market opportunities based on market trends
    • Establish long-term customer relationships, understand their requirements and regulations, demonstrate technical knowledge, and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Sell the service product portfolio, monitor sales proposals and tenders, prepare service offerings, communicate Contract details, and manage the administrative sales process.
    • Act as a marketer and salesperson during marketing activities, translating customer needs into relevant service offerings and solutions.
    • Contribute to risk assessments, register information into SFDC, ensure technical reliability, safety, and cost-effective solutions, and comply with health and safety directives.
    • Provide technical direction for service sales training to less-experienced staff and support management with key data and insights on markets and effective service selling tactics
    • Monitor discount levels and manage concessions to ensure the profitability goal of the business

    Responsibilities:

    • The Service Sales Manager Latin America will be responsible for accelerating the growth of the PerkinElmer Services portfolio, especially leveraging Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Contracts, Warranty Extension and Contract Renewal. Developing Service sales account plans to ensure growth, building long-term customer relationships, driving high levels of customer experience, ensuring expected response to specific customer needs and issues are key success factors for this role.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Sciences disciplines
    • Proven solid experience in Sales, highly preferred more than 5 year in customer facing roles
    • Be proactive, collaborative and pursuit high performance targets
    • Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, Advanced in English
    • Liaise cross functionally with leaders within the organization
    • Available to travel 30-50% of timing
    • MBA will be a plus
